" My mother was a trapeze artist and my father was a clown and the top-mount of a teeterboard act. I grew up with traveling circuses performing as a clown. I made my first 8mm films in 1973. They were silent, caped ninja epics because we had trampolines, highwires and lots of swinging things. I don't remember much story, but lots of chasing, leaping, flying and landing."
